Did you ever see Julia’s kitchen at the Smithsonian while you were here? Apparently she wasn’t actually drinking wine during filmings, but water and gravy mixture, to just get the look of wine, because she wanted to introduce America to the idea of wine with dinner. She did a good job keeping a straight face getting that stuff down…
